CHOMEDEY AXIS – SERVING THE LAVAL-OUEST SECTOR, LE CARREFOUR TERMINAL, HENRI-BOURASSA AND CÔTE-VERTU METRO STATIONS AND REM BOIS-FRANC AND DU RUISSEAU STATIONS

Coming when the REM opens on November 17, 2025

Plan your trip by selecting a date as of November 17

This information will be updated in view of the schedule change planned for January 3 across the entire STL network.

ROUTE 55 remains between Laval-Ouest and the Henri-Bourassa metro station, passing near the Bois-Franc and Du Ruisseau stations in Montréal.

Important: Schedule changes are to be expected mainly on weekends, as well as before 6 a.m. and after 9 p.m. on weekdays.

Learn more

On weekdays, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., route 55 will continue to serve Henri-Bourassa Boulevard to the metro station.

On Saturdays and Sundays at all times, as well as on weekdays before 6 a.m. and after 9 p.m., route 55 will no longer serve Henri-Bourassa Boulevard between Grenet and the metro station. You will need to plan a trip using other options.

If you have an All Mode AB pass, it will be more advantageous to plan a trip that includes another bus route to a metro station. If you only wish to use a bus pass, you could take route 255, get off at the Grenet/Ranger stop, and transfer to STM route 164 towards Henri-Bourassa.

The NEW ROUTE 255 will be added to Route 55 to provide an alternative and enhance service between Laval-Ouest and the REM Bois-Franc station in Montréal.

255S to REM Bois-Franc: This route starts at Laval-Ouest, at the intersection of Boulevard Arthur-Sauvé and Rue Prévert, like Route 55, and stops at the REM Bois-Franc station (West loop, near the REM entrance).

255N to Laval-Ouest: This route starts at the REM Bois-Franc station (West loop – platform 3, near the REM exit) and stops at Laval-Ouest, at the intersection of Rue Prévert and Boulevard Arthur-Sauvé, like Route 55.

ROUTE 902 remains unchanged between the Le Carrefour terminal and the Côte-Vertu metro station, except that it will make a stop for drop-off (West loop) and pick-up (East loop – platform 8) at the REM Bois-Franc station. Schedule changes are to be expected.

Please note: The East Loop at the Bois-Franc REM station is located on the other side of Marcel-Laurin Boulevard, approximately 300 meters from the REM station, or about a 4-minute walk. To access it, take the pedestrian bridge that crosses over the boulevard. View the Bois-Franc terminus map
