XTRA summer pass

For only 75 $, the XTRA STL fare allows 12 to 17 years olds to take unlimited bus trips on the STL network during all of July and August. What a great way to enjoy the summer and all the activities Laval has to offer! The XTRA fare is valid on the regular STL bus network and paratransit.

How to get the XTRA fare

To get the XTRA fare, you must

Be 12 to 17 years old*
Have a Photo ID OPUS card for reduced fares**

*Other groups can buy a XTRA fare under certain conditions. See exceptions below in our FAQ.
**If you don't have a Photo ID OPUS card, you must obtain one at a cost of 15$ at metropolitain ticket office. Learn more.

WHO CAN GET A XTRA FARE ?

Children (6 to 11 years old) who are not accompanied by a person ages 14 and above. Transit is free for children under 11 under certain conditions.
Youths (12 to 17 years old)
Seniors aged 65 and above who are not Laval resident. Laval seniors ride for free with the Horizon 65+ fare.

DO I NEED AN OPUS CARD TO GET MY XTRA FARE?

A Photo ID OPUS card for reduced fares is necessary to buy an XTRA fare. Learn more about the Photo ID OPUS card.

WHERE CAN I BUY A XTRA FARE?

The XTRA fare is available at all points of sale, at metropolitan ticket offices and in fare vending machines.
