Shared Taxi Schedules – Regular and On-Call Service

Shared taxi service is a complementary transit option to our bus routes. It helps serve areas with lower ridership or streets where buses cannot operate. Fares are the same as on the regular bus network.

 

Payment by OPUS card only (cash, credit/debit cards, and occasional smart cards are not accepted.)

How the three types of shared taxi service work

Payment by OPUS card only, with a valid fare product.

 

IMPORTANT: Schedules and service hours may change without notice. Always check before planning your trip.

Regular Service

Fixed schedule, no reservation required

This service operates like a bus. The shared taxi follows a set route and serves all scheduled stops.

 

How to use a regular shared taxi route: 

  1. Check the PDF schedule in the table above. Review it regularly, as it may change. 
  2. Arrive at the stop 5 minutes early with your OPUS card with a valid fare.

On-call service 

Reservation required during service hours

From a predefined schedule, reserve your trip at a specific time and stop. The shared taxi will pick you up at the selected time.

 

How to use the on-call shared taxi service: 

  1. Check the PDF schedule. Note the route number, stop number, trip time, trip number, and the number on the back of your OPUS card. 
  2. Book online or by phone at 450-575-8204 using the information you noted. Please book at least 30 minutes in advance. 
  3. Arrive at the stop 5 minutes early with your OPUS card with a valid fare.

On-Demand Service

Reservation required during service hours

Book a shared taxi within defined service hours and connect easily with the STL bus network. There is no fixed schedule, no predefined route, and no drop-off between stops.

The service area includes: 

  • Connection stops (C) connecting to the regular bus network 
  • On-demand stops (D)

The service allows trips: 

  • From on-demand to on-demand stops (D to D) 
  • From on-demand to connection stops (D to C) 
  • From connection to on-demand stops (C to D) 

Trips between two connection stops (C to C) are not permitted.

Find an on-demand shared taxi route

 

How to use the on-demand shared taxi service: 

  1. Book online or call 450‑575‑8204 at least 30 minutes in advance. Provide the route number, boarding and drop-off stop numbers (5 digits), number of passengers, and desired pick-up or drop-off time. 
  2. Arrive at the stop 5 minutes early with your OPUS card with a valid fare and be ready to board within the next 30 minutes.
