Trips not permitted

Paratransit service is reserved for individuals travelling on an individual basis.

Paratransit service cannot be used for:

  • School travel to both private and public institutions, at the primary or secondary level
  • Travel between health care facilities for the purpose of receiving medical care

Location accessibility

Pickup and drop‑off locations must be accessible using a safe access ramp. An access ramp deemed unsafe may result in the cancellation of your trip. If necessary, you may be asked to make the required adjustments so that the ramp meets safety standards.

In winter, make sure that pickup and drop‑off areas are cleared of snow and ice before the driver arrives. Otherwise, the trip may be cancelled unless you are able to reach the vehicle on your own.

Travel with a companion

You may travel with a companion if you have received authorization from the STL admission committee. Your companions must be registered in your customer file.

Conditions for companions:

  • Only one companion may travel with you. Exceptions may apply for customers aged 14 or under. For more information, contact our Customer Service.
  • Your companion must board and get off the vehicle with you and, unless an exception applies, must pay the fare according to current rates.
  • You must indicate at the time of booking that you will be travelling with a companion. If you do not specify this when making your reservation, the driver will not be able to allow the companion to board.
  • We encourage your companion to inform the driver of any information that may help improve your comfort and safety during the trip.
