General Information
Paratransit is a public transit service designed for people whose disability significantly limits their mobility.
The service allows you to travel within Laval or anywhere across the territory of the Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM).
Your paratransit service in Laval
At the Société de transport de Laval (STL), our goal is simple: to provide you with the best possible transit experience. We offer professional, courteous, and attentive service to make your travel in Laval and surrounding areas easier.
The STL is responsible for managing paratransit service for residents of the City of Laval. This includes handling your admission and customer file, as well as customer service for any questions, comments, or complaints related to paratransit.
Since January 1, 2026, call centre and reservation services, as well as paratransit trips for Laval customers, are operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM).
In summary
The STL is responsible for:
- ensuring the quality and proper operation of the service for Laval customers, in partnership with the STM;
- processing admission applications;
- handling any requests or changes related to your customer file;
- providing customer service.
The STM is responsible for:
- all trip reservations, modifications, and cancellations.
