Getting off between stops after 8 p.m.
After 8 p.m., for your comfort and safety, you can ask the bus driver to let you off between stops.
This service is available to everyone after 8 p.m., year-round, across the entire STL bus and shared taxi service network, both in Laval and Montréal.
How does it work?
- At least one stop in advance, let the bus driver know where you would like to get off.
- The driver will assess whether it is safe to drop you off at the requested location.
- If the location is safe, you will be let off there. Otherwise, the driver will suggest a nearby, safer spot.
Additional details
- No drop-offs are permitted in Montréal on routes heading toward Laval.
- This service is not available on Express routes (901, 903, 925) or on Route 713 to maintain service reliability.
- This service is not available on the Pie‑IX BRT (52, 252) due to route configuration.
- No drop-offs are allowed between stops in areas where the speed limit is 70 km/h or higher.
- For passengers using wheelchairs: the driver must ensure that the requested drop-off location allows the access ramp to be safely deployed onto a sidewalk.
