Inclusive Mobility Program
This training program is offered to customers who want to become familiar with how public transit networks operate across the Greater Montréal area, including:
Société de transport de Laval (STL) – buses
Société de transport de Montréal (STM) – metro and buses
Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) – buses
exo – trains and buses
Réseau express métropolitain (REM) – automated light metro
What is the Inclusive Mobility Program?
This training program provides practical tools to help customers with functional limitations become familiar with using buses, the metro, trains and the REM. Its goal is to promote safety, independence and confidence.
The Inclusive Mobility Program is a joint project with the ARTM, coordinated by the STM, and delivered in collaboration with exo, the REM, the RTL and the STL.
The program is free and includes:
- 2 to 5 group training sessions (bus, metro, REM, trip planning, safety and proper behaviour)
- Guided visits of facilities and vehicles
- Up to 4 one-on-one training sessions to practice a trip of your choice with an instructor
Who the program is for
- People with mobility, intellectual, autism spectrum or speech and language limitations

Customers eligible for paratransit who also use the regular transit network
How to register
At this time, registration is done through community organizations, schools (such as school service centres), or health sector organizations across the metropolitan area.
