In the Greater Montreal Area, the metro is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM).

All underground metro stations in Laval, Montréal and Longueuil are managed by the STM. This includes the operations, maintenance, security, facilities, ticket booths, automatic ticketing and OPUS card (without photo ID) machines, card readers and turnstiles.
