Take the bus for 1 $ on smog days 

From June 1 until Labour Day, every time a smog alert launched by Environment Canada for the Laval region, the STL offers single bus fares for 1 $ the next day. This is our way of contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
 
This fare is paid aboard our buses by cash, debit card and credit card and is valid on the entire STL network (both buses and shared taxis). If you have a monthly fare on your OPUS card, this fare will be validated, and you will not be charged extra. You are already helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions and we thank you for it! 

With this initiative, we hope to foster better transportation habits in Laval and avoid solo car trips that can impact air quality. 

When smog alerts are announced, we will inform our clients on our website, our social media accounts and our other information services. Keep an eye out!
