SHARING DATA TO IMPROVE THE USER EXPERIENCE

The STL shares data on bus schedules and real-time arrivals with developers to help users plan trips on public transit across Greater Montreal.

TERMS OF USE

By downloading and using our open data, you confirm that you have read and agree to comply with the following Digital Tools Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Without limiting the generality of the Digital Tools Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, the STL grants you a non-exclusive, limited and revocable licence to use, reproduce and redistribute data concerning bus schedules and routes (hereinafter referred to as the Data) in GTFS format, in accordance with the following terms:

• The STL retains all rights, title, and interest in the Data, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, and any intellectual property rights embodied in the Data, including any copyright. You acquire no proprietary rights from the use, modification or distribution of the Data. The Data may not be used for commercial or quasi-commercial purposes without prior written authorization from the STL.
• Official STL brands and copyrighted material may not be used without prior written authorization from the STL.
• All the Data is provided “as-is.” The STL is unable to guarantee that the Data is free of inconsistencies, errors or bugs, or that the Data may be corrected, or that the site will remain functional without interruptions or downtime. Under no circumstances shall the STL or its employees be held liable for any type of foreseeable or unforeseeable damage, including the loss of profits or opportunities, resulting from the use of the Data or from the total or impartial inability to use the Data.
• The STL reserves the right to modify or withdraw the Data at any time without prior notice.
• These Terms of Use supersede any previous discussion, agreement or representation between you and the STL, and they may only be amended with prior written approval from the STL.
• Bus schedule data is subject to change without notice due to unforeseen circumstances.

Real-time schedule XML feed

Please read the documentation before accessing our XML feed. Specific commands and settings are needed to display results. To query STL data specifically, use a=stl as the transit agency code.
