Improved service for back-to-school

Bus times are being adjusted and improved as of Saturday August 22, 2020. These changes are meant to coincide with the potential increase in ridership resulting from the back-to-school season. Buses will be added during morning rush hour and bus frequency will be upped throughout the day. On certain routes, including  26, 42 and 65, buses will pass every 10 minutes. These improvements are intended to provide transit that is safe and adapted to the needs of Laval residents.

Planning commutes more effectively

Make informed decisions thanks to our new bus occupancy tool capable of predicting how crowded your bus will be, when you get on, and throughout your commute. This tool also enables you to personalize the information you receive based on your needs and your comfort level in terms of bus crowdedness. Available on stlaval.ca/passengers, for computers and smartphones.

16 wheelchair-accessible bus routes in Laval

Bus 66 linking the Sainte-Dorothée area to the Le Carrefour terminal joins the 15 other routes accessible for people with reduced mobility. Together, they now account for 35% of our bus fleet. These routes use only wheelchair-accessible buses equipped with a sloped ramp at the front.

Masks mandatory when using public transit

Masks are mandatory for riders ages 10 and up using our buses and bus terminals (inside and outside).

Front-door boarding, rear-door exiting

For everyone’s safety, users must board from the front of the bus and exit via the rear door. A reminder that fare collection has resumed and that users are required to have a valid fare on them at all times or pay for their trip in cash or via credit card (on certain bus routes).

Thank you for complying with this new rule, for your health and that of others. Let’s all ride civic-mindedly.

A new world requires a new way to transit. Stay informed by visiting our Covid-19 page on a regular basis.
