Sweeping electrification initiative, far-reaching transformation!

For Earth Day 2021, we thought we’d transport you into the future of public transit, on one of our fully electric buses. Sustainable mobility depends upon the electrification of transportation, and we’re working on it 100%!

We’re talking about a major transformation involving adapting our practices, testing new innovations and features, upgrading our facilities and developing our infrastructures so our entire fleet may be fully electric by 2035-2040. It’s a challenging undertaking our teams are eagerly committed to! And it’s worth it, for the planet and for:

• Reducing GHG emissions by 70 to 80 tons per bus each year.
• Cutting energy costs per kilometre by an estimated 40 to 50%.
• Saving 15 to 20% on maintenance costs – no fuel engine, transmission or exhaust.
• Enhancing the rider experience thanks to the buses’ quiet electric motor.
