REM interruption

Last updated: October 29, 2025

To find out about the status of the service and the measures in place in case of a REM breakdown in Laval:

visit the REM website.

Here are the alternatives offered by the STL in case of a REM outage on the Deux-Montagnes branch (line A4), depending on the situation.

IF ONE OF THE FOLLOWING SITUATIONS PERPETUATES BEYOND 20 MINUTES:

  • Complete shutdown of the REM network between Gare CentraleStation and Deux-Montagnes
  • Closure of the Mont-Royal Tunnel
  • Outage between Bois-Franc and Deux-Montagnes
  • Outage between Sainte-Dorothée and Deux-Montagnes

The STL has implemented measures to allow you to travel between operational stations.

The diagrams below illustrate the service offered in each case. Detailed explanations are provided further down.

ALERNATIVES IN PLACE FROM NOVEMBER 17 TO DECEMBER 31

Please note that routes 713, 730, and 744 do not operate on weekends or holidays.

This information will be updated in anticipation of the schedule change scheduled for January 3 across the entire STL network.
