As everyone knows, the STL is adapting to new orders and the rapidly changing situation on a daily basis. This update will be provided as needed.
We recommend that you visit our website regularly to keep yourself informed. The STL will promptly advise riders should it need to modify its service offering to optimize service based on operational capabilities.
At this time, service is maintained as usual.
Always check your bus schedule before heading out, even if you planned your trip in advance:
• Refer to our schedules pages
• Use the Trip Planner to plan your trip
• Text your bus stop number to 511785 for the real-time schedule
We remind STL riders that the schedule is different on statutory holidays: refer to the schedules in effect on statutory holidays.
The STL would like to reassure riders that public transit is still safe.
As the bus doors open frequently, it allows fresh air to flow through the vehicles. To learn more about this matter, watch the informative news story on the Découverte program (in French). Watch it here
Our maintenance teams continue to clean our buses, facilities and terminuses every day, including handrails, grab bars and straps in the vehicles.
The best way to protect each other is to wear a properly fitted mask throughout the bus ride, fully covering your nose and mouth. Riders can also use double masking for greater protection. We ask that everyone be civic-minded, be respectful of other riders and to comply with this order, which is crucial for limiting the risks of spreading the virus and the Omicron variant.
Wear your mask: It’s mandatory for people age 10 and over and strongly recommended for younger passengers.
Kindly obey the established safety perimeter around the bus driver by staying behind the yellow line once aboard and get off the bus by the rear door.
Although a vaccination passport is not required to use public transit, we strongly recommend that all our riders get vaccinated.
If you have any symptoms, do not take the bus.
If you have some flexibility in your travel time, be sure to use our bus crowdedness forecaster to find out how many people you should expect on the bus at the time of boarding and during your trip based on your departure time. The tool lets you see all the options and to choose the one that best suits you. It’s reassuring to know that we can opt for less busy times should we be worried about riding next to other passengers.
Our minibuses can now only accommodate up to three passengers at a time in order to allay our customers’ safety concerns and to further reduce the risk of transmitting the virus. Wearing a face mask properly on the minibus is also the best way to protect yourself.
Note that the Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM) has extended the suspension of subscriptions until March 2022.
Stay up to date by going on the ARTM website (in French)
